ਜਿਸੁ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਸਭਿ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਨਾਸਹਿ
ਪਿਤਰੀ ਹੋਇ ਉਧਾਰੋ।।
ਸੋ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਤੁਮ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਜਾਪਹੁ
ਜਾ ਕਾ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਪਾਰੋ।। ੧ ।।

Jis simrat sabh kilvikh naasey

pitri hoye udhaaro.

So hari hari tum sad hee jaapoh

Ja ka ant na paaro. 1.

Remembering Him all your sins are washed away and

even your ancestors benefit.

So always remember the Lord who is endless and unfathomable.

ਨਿਮਖ ਨ ਬਿਸਰਉ ਤੁਮ ਕਉ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ

Puta mata ki aasis.

Nimakh na bisroh tum ko hari hari

Sada bhajoh jagdis. Rahao.

My son, this is your mother’s blessing that

you never forget Him even for a moment.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਤੁਮ ਕਉ ਹੋਇ ਦਇਆਲਾ
ਸੰਤਸੰਗਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ।।
ਕਾਪੜੁ ਪਤਿ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਰਾਖੀ
ਭੋਜਨੁ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਨੀਤਿ।। ੨ ।।

Satgur tum ko hoye dyaala

Sant sang teri preet.

Kaapar patt parmesar raakhi

Bhojan kirtan neet. 2.

May the Satgur be kind to you and sows

the seed of love for satsang in you.

Then the Lord will take care of your honour

if you remain imbued in His Nam.

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਪੀਵਹੁ ਸਦਾ ਚਿਰੁ ਜੀਵਹੁ
ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਅਨਦ ਅਨੰਤਾ।।
ਰੰਗ ਤਮਾਸਾ ਪੂਰਨ ਆਸਾ
ਕਬਹਿ ਨ ਬਿਆਪੈ ਚਿੰਤਾ।। ੩ ।।

Amrit peevoh sada chir jeevoh

Hari simrat anand ananta.

Rang tamasa purana asa

Kabhey na biyaapey chinta. 3.

Take the nectar of His name and rejoice in His remembrance.

Then you can participate in the play of the world and yet remain untouched by it.

ਭਵਰੁ ਤੁਮਾਰਾ ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਹੋਵਉ
ਹਰਿ ਚਰਣਾ ਹੋਹੁ ਕਉਲਾ।।
ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸੁ ਉਨ ਸੰਗਿ ਲਪਟਾਇਓ
ਜਿਉ ਬੂੰਦਹਿ ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕ ਮਉਲਾ।। ੪ ।।

Bhawar tumhara eh mann hovoh

Hari charna hoye kaula.

Nanak das unn sang laptaayo

Jio boondey chatrik maula.4.

May your heart be like the bee and

His presence be the lotus in which Nanak

gets totally absorbed like the chatrik is lost in the raindrop.
