Synchronicity means resonating inside & out.

Synchronicity means that something is happening outside and exactly similar to that something starts happening inside. Outside there is music and something starts resonating in you. Inadvertently, your head begins to sway, your feet dance. This music was within you even when it was not playing outside. But, now it has awakened it.

This is what the guru does. He plays the sitar and reminds you of the sounds lying dormant in you. The guru is a musician, a dancer. He cannot give you his music or his dance. But, being near him you can catch the infection and you begin to dance and sing with him. Evidently, you can only know from the guru and nowhere else.
