ਕਿਤੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਜਗੁ ਉਪਜੈ ਪੁਰਖਾ ਕਿਤੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਦੁਖਿ ਬਿਨਸਿ ਜਾਈ।।
ਹਉਮੈ ਵਿਚਿ ਜਗੁ ਉਪਜੈ ਪੁਰਖਾ ਨਾਮਿ ਵਿਸਰਿਐ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਈ।।
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਸੁ ਗਿਆਨੁ ਤਤੁ ਬੀਚਾਰੈ ਹਉਮੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਜਲਾਏ।।
ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਾਚੈ ਰਹੈ ਸਮਾਏ।।
ਨਾਮੇ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਹੈ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ ਸਾਚੁ ਰਖਿਆ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰੇ।।
ਨਾਨਕ ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਜੋਗੁ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਹੋਵੈ ਦੇਖਹੁ ਰਿਦੈ ਬੀਚਾਰੇ।।੬੮।।

Kit bidh jag upajey purkha kit bidh dukh binas jaayee.
Haumei vich jag upajey purkha naam visareeye dukh paayee.
Gurmukh hovey so gyan tatt beechaarey haumei shabad jalaaye.
Tann mann nirmal nirmal baani saachey rahey samaaye.
Naamey naam rahey bairagi saach rakhya ur dhaarey.
Nanak bin naavey jog kadey na hovey dekho ridey beechaarey.68.

कित बिधि जग उपजै पुरखा कित बिधि दुख बिनस जाई।।
हउमै विच जग उपजै पुरखा नाम विसरीए दुख पाई।।
गुरमुख होवै सु गिआन तत बीचारे हउमै सबद जलाए।।
तन मन निरमल निरमल बाणी साचै रहै समाए।।
नामे नाम रहै बैरागी साच रखिआ उर धारे।।
नानक बिन नावै जोग कदे न होवै देखो रिदै बीचारे।। 68।।

Question: How was the world formed? What disaster will end it?
Answer: This visible world was born out of ego. Forgetting Naam it suffers and perishes.
The gurmukh aligns himself with true wisdom and lets Naam destroy his ego.
Thus he purifies his body and mind and remains immersed in the True One.
He makes his heart the abode of Naam and Naam remains constant in it.
Look within and know that without Naam no yoga is possible.
