ਹਿਰਦਾ ਦੇਹ ਨ ਹੋਤੀ ਅਉਧੂ ਤਉ ਮਨੁ ਸੁੰਨਿ ਰਹੈ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ।।
ਨਾਭਿ ਕਮਲੁ ਅਸਥੰਭ ਨ ਹੋਤੋ ਤਾ ਨਿਜ ਘਰਿ ਬਸਤਉ ਪਵਨੁ ਅਨਰਾਗੀ।।
ਰੂਪੁ ਨ ਰੇਖਿਆ ਜਾਤਿ ਨ ਹੋਤੀ ਤਉ ਅਕੁਲੀਣਿ ਰਹਤਉ ਸਬਦੁ ਸੁ ਸਾਰੁ।।
ਗਉਨੁ ਗਗਨੁ ਜਬ ਤਬਹਿ ਹੋਤਉ ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣ ਜੋਤਿ ਆਪੇ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ।।
ਵਰਨੁ ਭੇਖੁ ਅਸਰੂਪੁ ਸੁ ਏਕੋ ਏਕੋ ਸਬਦੁ ਵਿਡਾਣੀ।।
ਸਾਚ ਬਿਨਾ ਸੂਚਾ ਕੋ ਨਾਹੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਅਕਥ ਕਹਾਣੀ।।੬੭।।

Hirda deh na hoti Avdhu tau mann sunn rahey bairagi.
Naabh kamal asathambh na hoto tau nij ghar bastoh pavan anragi.
Roop na rekhya jaat na hoti tau akuleen rahto shabad su saar.
Gaun gagan jab tabey hotoh tribhavan jot aapey nirankaar.
Varan bhekh asaroop su eko eko shabad vidaani.
Saach bina soocha ko naahi Nanak akath kahaani.67.

हिरदा देह न होती अवधू तौ मन सुँन रहै बैरागी।।
नाभि कमल असथँभ न होतो ता निज घर बसतो पवन अनरागी।।
रूप न रेखिआ जात न होती तौ अकुलीण रहतो सबद सु सार।।
गौन गगन जब तबह होतो त्रिभवन जोत आपे निरँकार।।
वरन भेख असरूप सु एको एको सबद विडाणी।।
साच बिना सूचा को नाही नानक अकथ कहाणी।। 67।।

Answer: When there was no heart or body, the mind resided in the formless divine.
When there was no support of navel the breath remained in its source drowned in love.
When there was no shape or form the Word remained as an undistinct part of the whole.
When the earth or sky did not exist the light of the formless divine filled the three worlds.
And, wonder of wonders, the hidden forms and colours have come to light!
The basic truth is that there is nothing in this world that is not divine and pure.
