ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਰੰਗੇ ਰਾਤਾ।।
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਪੀਆ ਸਾਚੇ ਮਾਤਾ।।
ਗੁਰ ਵੀਚਾਰੀ ਅਗਨਿ ਨਿਵਾਰੀ।।
ਅਪਿਉ ਪੀਓ ਆਤਮ ਸੁਖੁ ਧਾਰੀ।।
ਸਚੁ ਅਰਾਧਿਆ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਤਰੁ ਤਾਰੀ।।
ਨਾਨਕ ਬੂਝੈ ਕੋ ਵੀਚਾਰੀ।।੬੩।।

Gur prasadi rangey rata.
Amrit piya saachey mata.
Gur veechaari agan nivaari.
Apiyo piyo atam sukh dhaari.
Sach araadhya gurmukh tar taari.
Nanak boojhey ko veechaari.63.

गुर परसादी रँगे राता।।
अँमृत पीआ साचे माता।।
गुर वीचारी अगन निवारी।।
अपिउ पीओ आतम सुख धारी।।
सच अराधिया गुरमुख तर तारी।।
नानक बूझै को वीचारी।। 63।।

You can be dyed in divine shades only through the Guru’s grace.
Then you are truly intoxicated with the divine and become immortal.
The thought and remembrance of the Guru cools the fire within.
Then you have drunk the nectar and found peace within.
Remembering the Guru the gurmukh finds himself free of bondage.
There are very few rare individuals who chance upon this truth.
