ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸੁੰਨੰ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਸੁੰਨੰ ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣ ਸੁੰਨ ਮਸੁੰਨੰ।।
ਚਉਥੇ ਸੁੰਨੈ ਜੋ ਨਰੁ ਜਾਣੈ ਤਾ ਕਉ ਪਾਪੁ ਨ ਪੁੰਨੰ।।
ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਸੁੰਨ ਕਾ ਜਾਣੈ ਭੇਉ।।
ਆਦਿ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਦੇਉ।।
ਜੋ ਜਨੁ ਨਾਮ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਰਾਤਾ।।
ਨਾਨਕ ਸੋਈ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ।।੫੧।।

Antar sunnam bahar sunnam tribhavan sunn masunnam.
Chauthey sunney jo nar jaaney ta ko paap na punnam.
Ghat ghat sunn ka jaaney bheo.
Aad purakh niranjan deo.
Jo jan naam niranjan raata.
Nanak soyee purakh bidhaata. 51.

अँतर सुँनँ बाहर सुँनँ त्रिभवन सुँन मसुँनँ।।
चौथे सुँनै जो नर जाणै ता का पाप न पुँनँ।।
घट घट सुँन का जाणै भेउ।।
आद पुरख निरँजन देउ।।
जो जन नाम निरँजन राता।।
नानक सोई पुरख बिधाता।। 51।।

The unstruck sound of silence pervades in and out and in the three realms
But, he who knows the fourth state rises above virtues and vices.
When you hear the all-pervading sound of silence in your heart
You have become one with the formless deity.
He who is thus absorbed in the formless divinity
He alone is the supreme creator.
