ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਧਰਤੀ ਸਾਚੈ ਸਾਜੀ।।
ਤਿਸ ਮਹਿ ਓਪਤਿ ਖਪਤਿ ਸੁ ਬਾਜੀ।।
ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਰਪੈ ਰੰਗ ਲਾਇ।।
ਸਾਚਿ ਰਤਉ ਪਤਿ ਸਿਉ ਘਰਿ ਜਾਇ।।
ਸਾਚ ਸਬਦ ਬਿਨੁ ਪਤਿ ਨਹੀ ਪਾਵੈ।।
ਨਾਨਕ ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਕਿਉ ਸਾਚਿ ਸਮਾਵੈ।। ੩੦।।

Gurmukh dharti saachey saajee.
Tis meh opat khapat su baajee.
Gur ke shabad rapay rang laaye.
Saach ratto patt seo ghar jaaye.
Saach shabad bin patt nahi paavey.
Nanak bin naavey kyun saach samaavey. 30.

गुरमुख धरती साचै साजी।।
तिस मह ओपत खपत सु बाजी।।
गुर कै सबद रपै रँग लाए।।
साच रतो पत सिउ घर जाए।।
साच सबद बिन पत नहीं पावै।।
नानक बिन नावै क्यों साच समावै।। 30।।

The creator made the world primarily for the gurmukhs
And in that world other creatures come and go.
The gurmukh remains imbued in the hues of Naam.
Dyed in colours of love the gurmukh returns home honourably.
Without the true Naam there is no honour.
Without Naam how can he become one with the True One?
