ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਰਚੈ ਬੇਦ ਬੀਚਾਰੀ।।
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਰਚੈ ਤਰੀਐ ਤਾਰੀ।।
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਰਚੈ ਸੁ ਸਬਦਿ ਗਿਆਨੀ।।
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਰਚੈ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਬਿਧਿ ਜਾਨੀ।।
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਅਲਖ ਅਪਾਰੁ।।
ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਦੁਆਰੁ।।੨੮।।

Gurmukh parchey ved bichaaree.
Gurmukh parchey tareeye taaree.
Gurmukh parchey so shabad gyaanee.
Gurmukh parchey antar bidhi jaanee.
Gurmukh paayeeye alakh apaar.
Nanak gurmukh mukat duaar. 28.

गुरमुख परचै बेद बीचारी।।
गुरमुख परचै तरीए तारी।।
गुरमुख परचै सु सबद गिआनी।।
गुरमुख परचै अँतर बिघि जानी।।
गुरमुख पाईए अलख अपार।।
नानक गुरमुख मुकत दुआर।। 28।।

Pleased by the gurmukh the Guru grants him knowledge of the vedas
Pleased by the gurmukh the Guru ferries him across the ocean of desire
Pleased by the gurmukh the Guru reveals to him the secret of Naam
Pleased by the gurmukh the Guru leads him on to the inner journey.
The gurmukh attains to the invisible and the infinite.
Thus the gurmukh finds the door of liberation
