ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਾਚੇ ਕਾ ਭਉ ਪਾਵੈ।।
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਬਾਣੀ ਅਘੜੁ ਘੜਾਵੈ।।
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ।।
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਵੈ।।
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਰੋਮਿ ਰੋਮਿ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਵੈ।।
ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਾਚਿ ਸਮਾਵੈ।।੨੭।।

Gurmukh saachey ka bhau peavey.
Gurmukh baani agharh ghahraavey.
Gurmukh nirmal hari gunn gaavey.
Gurmukh pavitar param padd peavey.
Gurmukh rom rom Hari dhiaavey.
Nanak gurmukh saach samaavey. 27.

गुरमुख साचे का भउ पावै।।
गुरमुख बाणी अघड़ घड़ावै।।
गुरमुख निरमल हरि गुण गावै।।
गुरमुख पवित्र परम पद पावै।।
गुरमुख रोम रोम हरि घिआवै।।
नानक गुरमुख साच समावै।। 27।।

Gurmukh is the one who listens to the Guru’s word and follows it.
He tightens his grip on the wanton mind with the help of the Guru.
He reads, learns and follows the Guru’s advice.
He unclutters his mind and sharpens his senses to realise His presence within
He remembers the divine with each and every fibre of his body
Thus he becomes one with the divine like the drop unites with the ocean.
