ਕਹਾ ਤੇ ਆਵੈ ਕਹਾ ਇਹੁ ਜਾਵੈ ਕਹਾ ਇਹੁ ਰਹੈ ਸਮਾਈ।।
ਏਸੁ ਸਬਦ ਕਉੁ ਜੋ ਅਰਥਾਵੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਗੁਰ ਤਿਲੁ ਨ ਤਮਾਈ।।
ਕਿਉ ਤਤੈ ਅਵਿਗਤੈ ਪਾਵੈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਲਗੈ ਪਿਆਰੋ।।
ਆਪੇ ਸੁਰਤਾ ਆਪੇ ਕਰਤਾ ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਬੀਚਾਰੋ।।
ਹੁਕਮੇ ਆਵੈ ਹੁਕਮੇ ਜਾਵੈ ਹੁਕਮੇ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਈ।।
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਸਾਚੁ ਕਮਾਵੈ ਗਤਿ ਮਿਤਿ ਸਬਦੇ ਪਾਈ।।੨੨।।

Aad ko bismaad kathialey sunn nirantar vaas liya.
Akalpat mudra gur gyan bichaariley ghat ghat saacha sarab jiya.
Gur bachni avigatt samayeeye tatt niranjan sahaj lahey.
Nanak duji kaar na karni sevey sikh su khoj lahey.
Hukam bismaad hukam pachhaney jee jugat sach jaaney soyee.
Aap maet niralam hovey antar saach jogi kaheeye soyee. 23.

आद को बिसमाद कथीअले सुँन निरँतर वास लीआ।।
अकलपत मुद्रा गुर गिआन बीचारीअले घट घट साचा सरब जीआ।।
गुर बचनी अविगत समाईऐ तत निरँजन सहज लहै।।
नानक दूजी कार न करणी सेवे सिख सो खोज लहै।।
हुकम बिसमाद हुकमे पछाणे जीअ जुगत सच जाणे सोई।।
आप मेट निरालम होवे अँतर साच जोगी कहीए सोई।। 24।।

Answer: We can only wonder at the beginning when the creator rested in shunya.
Let desirelessness be the posture to realise the One that resides in every heart.
Remain attuned to the Guru’s word and you will attain the formless deity.
There is no need to do anything else if you can follow the Guru’s advice.
The secret of life is revealed when you live in accordance with the hukam.
Destroy the ego, remain detached, and look within to become a true yogi.
