ਕਹਾ ਤੇ ਆਵੈ ਕਹਾ ਇਹੁ ਜਾਵੈ ਕਹਾ ਇਹੁ ਰਹੈ ਸਮਾਈ।।
ਏਸੁ ਸਬਦ ਕਉੁ ਜੋ ਅਰਥਾਵੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਗੁਰ ਤਿਲੁ ਨ ਤਮਾਈ।।
ਕਿਉ ਤਤੈ ਅਵਿਗਤੈ ਪਾਵੈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਲਗੈ ਪਿਆਰੋ।।
ਆਪੇ ਸੁਰਤਾ ਆਪੇ ਕਰਤਾ ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਬੀਚਾਰੋ।।
ਹੁਕਮੇ ਆਵੈ ਹੁਕਮੇ ਜਾਵੈ ਹੁਕਮੇ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਈ।।
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਸਾਚੁ ਕਮਾਵੈ ਗਤਿ ਮਿਤਿ ਸਬਦੇ ਪਾਈ।।੨੨।।

Kaha te aavey kaha eh javey kaha eh rahya samaayee.
Eas shabad ko jo arthavey tis gur til na tamaayee.
Kyun tattey avigatay paavey gurmukh lagey pyaaro.
Aapey surta aapey karta kaho Nanak bichaaro.
Hukmey aavey hukmey jaavey hukmey rahya samaayee.
Poorey gur te saach kamaavey gatt mitt shabadey payee. 22.

कहा ते आवे कहा इह जावे कहा इह रहै समाई।।
एस सबद को जो अरथावे तिस गुर तिल न तमाई।।
क्यों ततै अविगतै पावे गुरमुख लगै पिआरो।।
आपे सुरता आपे करता कहो नानक बीचारो।।
हुकमे आवे हुकमे जावे हुकमे रहिआ समाई।।
पूरे गुर ते साच कमावे गत मित सबदे पाई।। 23।।

Question: Where from does it come and whereto it goes and where does it remain?
Whoever tells us this secret is the true guru, devoid of any vices.
How can the creature find its source who is both the creator and the creation?
Nanak says: Creativity includes everything – the creator and the creation.
His hukam is the prime mover which makes things come and go and remain constant.
The true guru imparts this knowledge and realisation comes through Naam.
