ਲਖੁ ਲਖੁ ਗੇੜਾ ਆਖੀਅਹਿ ਏਕੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਗਦੀਸ ।।
ਏਤੁ ਰਾਹਿ ਪਤਿ ਪਵੜੀਆ ਚੜੀਐ ਹੋਇ ਇਕੀਸ ।।
ਸੁਣਿ ਗਲਾ ਆਕਾਸ ਕੀ ਕੀਟਾ ਆਈ ਰੀਸ ।।

If I had a million tongues
And with each tongue would a million times repeat thy name
Many are the rungs of the ladder to the ultimate union.
Tinier than the ant though I am, I too long to fly
Having heard so much about the sky.
The blessed ones will attain
While others indulge in hollow talk.
