ਸੁਣਿਐ ਪੜਿ ਪੜਿ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਮਾਨੁ ।।
ਸੁਣਿਐ ਲਾਗੈ ਸਹਿਜ ਧਿਆਨੁ ।।
ਨਾਨਕ ਭਗਤਾ ਸਦਾ ਵਿਗਾਸੁ ।।

Listen to the all pervading sound
And know truth and contentment
Listen, for it is as good as bathing in holy rivers.
Listen, and go deep in meditation.
It is better than any learning and erudition.
Listening to it the devotees rejoice
They are free of all sins and sorrows.

ਸੁਣਿਐ ਹਾਥ ਹੋਵੈ ਅਸਗਾਹੁ ।।
