Eh jee jant phuley Hari chitt laye.1.

The Spring Season is here and all vegetation has blossomed. All creatures have blossomed in His remembrance.

ਇਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਹਰਿਆ ਹੋਇ।।
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪੈ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਉਮੈ ਕਢੈ ਧੋਇ।। ੧ ।। ਰਹਾਉ।।

Inn bidhi eh mann harya hoye

Hari Hari nam japey din raati

Gurmukh haumei kadey dhoye.1. Rahao

This mind has blossomed by meditating on Hari’s name day and night. It has removed ego from my mind and I have become pure.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਬਦੁ ਸੁਣਾਏ।।
ਇਹ ਜਗੁ ਹਰਿਆ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਭਾਏ।। ੨ ।।

Satgur bani shabad sunaye.

Eh jag harya satgur bhaye.2.

Listening to the Satguru’s bani and with the Guru’s grace the whole world has come alive.

ਫਲ ਫੂਲ ਲਾਗੇ ਜਾਂ ਆਪੇ ਲਾਏ।।
ਮੂਲਿ ਲਗੈ ਤਾਂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਏ।। ੩ ।।

Phal phul lagey ja aapey laye.

Mool lagey ta satgur paye.3.

 These flowers and fruits are all born out of Him who is the source from which all has come to life.

ਆਪਿ ਬਸੰਤ ਜਗਤੁ ਸਭੁ ਵਾੜੀ।।
ਨਾਨਕ ਪੂਰੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਨਿਰਾਲੀ।। ੪ ।।

Aap basant jagat sabh vaarhi

Nanak purey bhag bhagat nirali.4.

He is the Spring Season and the world is His garden.

Nanak says he who surrenders completely gets the choicest rewards.
