The bud is not eager to open; it makes no effort to open up – no exercise, no pranayam, no yoga. The bud does nothing at all. The bud is just keen; just thirsty. It just wants to scatter the fragrance trapped in her heart to the winds. This eagerness too is not an effort; it is just waiting patiently.

The bud only waits. It waits for the sun to rise in the morning, the winds to blow, and the bud will become a flower. But she makes no effort to become that which she is born to be – she does not go to any school, or find a teacher, or learn from an instructor. She does nothing at all – she just waits.
