ਖਿੜਿ ਮੁਹ ਵੇਖਾਲੇ।।
ਮੋਰ ਬਬੀਹੇ ਬੋਲਦੇ
ਵੇਖਿ ਬਦਲ ਕਾਲੇ।।
ਨਾਰਿ ਭਤਾਰ ਪਿਆਰੁ ਹੈ

ਪੀਰ ਮੁਰੀਦਾ ਪਿਰਹੜੀ

laye tar nihaley.

Chakvi suraj het hai

mil hon sukhaley.

Nehu kaval jal janiye

khirh munh vekhaley.

Mor babihey bolde

vekh badal kaley.

Naar bhatar pyar hai

ma putt smaley.

He keeps looking at it.

The lotus is in love with the pond

And keeps looking at it lovingly.

The peacocks and cuckoos sing

When they see dark clouds bring rain.

The woman is in love with her husband

The mother nurses her son lovingly.
